The self emancipation proclamation of *ROCK in the skiii !!!*

 In 1914 the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill erected a Confederate monument named "Silent Sam" (you can see the monument in the image, the monument has since been taken down by the public). During the unveiling Willam Carr (mayor of the city next to Chapel Hill) gave a speech where he described how on the exact place where the statue was erected he, "horse-whipped a *ROCK in the skiii !!!* until her skirts hanged in shreds."

I created "The self emancipation proclamation of a ROCK in the skiii !!!" as an act to begin to reclaim my spirit from the institution that violated me and numerous other blx* womxn since its founding. I created a tour that troubled the white supremacist's holdings of UNC by exposing the white supremacist foundations of the campus that still remain while also uplifting sights/sites of blx and indigenous life.  Below is photo documentation of the performance.
